Ragda Pattis.

Ragda Patties are a classic Mumbai street cuisine snack that everyone enjoys. It includes pan-fried potato patties, dried peas curries, and a variety of sweet, spicy, and sour chutneys, as well as creamy yoghurt, ground spices, and crunchy sev. Every bite bursts with incredible flavors and textures, leaving you wanting more and more.

A plate of ragda patties and a cup of masala chai- there can’t be a better combination during the monsoons! 



To pressure cooker:-

  • Green peas 250 grams
  • Water
  • Salt 1 tbsp

For patties

  • Boiled mashed potatoes 1 cup
  • Carom seeds (ajwain) 2 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tbsp
  • All purpose flour
  • Refined sunflower oil 5 ml

For Ragda:-

  • Sliced green chilli 3-4 nos
  • Sliced ginger 3-4 no
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Hing powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander 1 tbsp
  • Kitchen king masala 2 tbsp

To serve ragda patties:-

  • Chopped onion
  • Red Chilli Sauce
  • Tarmarind Chutney
  • Sliced Green Chillies
